Toshiba have a wide range of powerful yet cost effective notebooks. New LED
Backlit screens help to increase battery life along with solid state hard
disk drives. With Bluetooth, built in 3G and wireless networking it has never
been easier to be truly mobile. Internet speeds can still be quite slow in some areas without full 3G but that will get better in time.

Net books are small versions of notebooks; they tend to have less processing power and smaller screens. They are primarily designed for low usage users that may just want to keep in touch using e-mail or amend a word or excel document on the go. They can also be used for presentations as you can plug most of them into an overhead projector.
